Electronic commerce needs security mostly in two areas: transaction privacy and reliable identification of the seller (since it is him who receives payment).

You achieve this mainly thanks to the EV certificate integrated onto these accounts. Digital certificates allow the establishment of private SSL* communication between buyer and seller. But EV certificates in particular are only supplied after careful verification that the company exists at the given address, and display the company's real information (name and address). In exchange, when a user visits a Web site equipped with one of these certificates, his browser's address bar becomes green and displays the certificate's information, giving an immediate visual indication of trust.

Certificates can be issued by a number of certification authorities (CAs). Of these, VeriSign is the oldest and the best known. Most large companies on the Internet use VeriSign certificates. This brand is probably already known to your visitors so it's in your best interest to be associated with it, especially because the green bar also displays the CA's name. For this reason, the EV certificate we include in these accounts is issued by VeriSign.

But even though the EV certificate is the most expensive single feature in this account, we do not stop there. The accounts still include 3 different domains for better presence in international markets, two Web site templates (e.g.: one for your public Web site itself and another for the private area for clients) and a Webmail with support for automatic e-mail message classification to help you organize a full mail box.
