This Roald Dahl biography for children (and fans of Dahl of any age)
tells the story of this remarkable man who was not only a famous
author, but a boxing champion, a fighter pilot and inventor who saved
thousands of lives. Bet you didn't know that!

Roald Dahl What's Their Story?
is part of the Oxford Reading Tree, Key Stage 2.
It's also been chosen by the University
of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate
to form part of the British National Curriculum
for children. Initially,
it will be used by the Curriculum and
Assessment Authority for Wales.
Since the book was published in 1997, I've discovered
that although originally written for children, my book is
being enjoyed by teenagers and adults too. It's especially
popular with students and teachers working on projects about Dahl.
A big hello to everyone who has e-mailed me from the United
States of America. Good news - Oxford University Press is
publishing in the States this Fall.
